Dear Friends of Perfect Pitch,
We set up Perfect Pitch in 2006 to try and find some new home-grown writers and shows that with our support and development may one day be able to hold their own in the West End amongst the host of fanastic Broadway transfers, juke box musicals and long long long running shows!
We still have quite some way to go to reach our goal but you can all help us take a big step in the right direction ...
DEPARTURE LOUNGE by Dougal Irvine (showcased in PP 2006) has been nominated for BEST NEW MUSICAL in the http://www.facebook.com/l/84ad6dM8wMhUAogVm1xdUkqv3qA;whatsonstage.com awards. The other nominees are 4 West End musicals and a show at the National.
DEPARTURE LOUNGE played at the new 120-seat Waterloo East Theatre for only 5 weeks with a cast of 5 and a band of just 2 guitars so we are thrilled to see it nominated amongst the large scale West End hits of 2010 including Legally Blonde and Love Never Dies.
