Best Concert Ever!!

Expected to be one of the best shows of the year and being one of the best bands of 2010, Muse started the spectacular show with their song "Uprising" from last year’s Resistance album, MUSE received a sell out crowed waiting anxiously to listen to their favorites songs. Being their last two concert of their European tour, it was guaranteed to be one of their best shows ever. The concert started with Matt Bellamy (the lead singer) shouting and greeting the crowed. Immediately, wide range of flag holders marched in with flags that read,” They will not control us”, “injustice is the norm”, “we are not afraid to die” and “Rise Up and take the power back” being part of the show as “Uprising” was being played. As they preformed their old songs and  new songs, the light and laser unforgettable one because they manage to follow go along with every song.

 In addition MUSE managed to go on a platforms that allowed going up the center of the stadium.  Not only did raising the platforms allow their fans to see them from far away it also deliver a fantastic show. Not satisfied with a huge light show, during one of the songs, a balloon that resembled a huge UFO ship with someone was doing acrobatics over the sky that went across the stadium. Towards the end of the show, giant eye balloons filled with confetti were released towards the crowed of fans. As the balloons were being passed on like huge beach balls, this made the fans scream for two more encores as their fans pleaded for more; however MUSE did manage to please their fans with and new and old  song “Neutron Star Coalition” from their Twilight Saga: Eclipse Soundtrack. New and Old fans of MUSE were able to enjoy a grand variety of music that ranged from the Alternative rock to the mixture of Symphonic rock. They managed to End the show with one of their classic songs “Knights of Cydonia”. As soon as the show was over, a great majority of fans stated that it was an EPIC concert. It seemed that the majority left the concert without being disappointed.

Being a Muse fan, I was completely amazed on their performance. Its so surprising how much more liberty on the set designs they have here in London compared to in the States. I know that the stadiums in the states are much smaller; however, I think that even if they had their capacity to do it would not be the same because of the atmosphere that the fans bring into account. It was vary interesting to see people from all over Europe and other parts of the world, who came just to see MUSE. Its really rare to see people from outside the States when they play in stadiums in United States. I saw them prier to Wembly, back in Oakland, and their performance was nothing compared to it. It may be because of the limited amount of space that the venues have that restrict them to do huge set designs and space. But because it was in Wembley, people from all over the Europeans Union manage to come because they were expecting a great show and it also may be that its much easier to travel throughout Europe.

 How would I describe this show, it was completely different because it was more theatrical than other shows that I’ve gone to and their was more extra effects going on. It was a different kind of concert; it was an over the top experience. It was quite bombastic experience because of explosions, people floating on the sky, them moving on weird platforms, and Matt wearing a video suit. It was a fantastic show that I will never forget.
